SpaceX went public on June 12, bought Cursor for $60 billion on June 16, and announced Grok is training on Cursor data today. 7 million developers use Cursor every day and most of them started using it because it ran on Claude. Now the code they write is training Grok instead. I think the benchmark comparison is going to get all the attention but this is the most interesting part of the whole announcement and nobody is really talking about it.
