An automated speech measure for Huntington’s disease: how can it take the field forward?
In this issue of The Lancet Digital Health, Clément Le Moine and colleagues describe a novel AI-assisted speech measure, NDSNet, that is sensitive, permits automatic data collection, and is less susceptible to practice effects than conventional cognitive outcome measures.1 NDSNet has been developed for Huntington’s disease, but should be adaptable for other neurological conditions.
