ByteDance's BytePlus Launches Dramagic, an AI Short-Drama Platform
ByteDance is targeting the short-drama format popular across Southeast Asia, and Dramagic's export adapts directly to platform distribution, giving regional studios a scripted pipeline that competes with assembling separate AI video tools.
ByteDance's overseas arm BytePlus has launched Dramagic, an enterprise AIGC platform built for short drama and video production. Users feed in a script, and the platform automatically extracts characters, scenes, props and styling, with each character generating a three-view reference sheet. It also writes storyboard prompts, matches assets and produces a storyboard table with character consistency maintained across dozens of shots. The workflow runs from Script Analysis through Asset Setup, Storyboard to Video Preview, and includes multi-user collaboration for production teams.
