I was quite surprised when my brother said he'd started paying for ChatGPT. Even more surprised when he explained how he was using it.
He tells me he's using it like a personal assistant: help writing letters, talking through job decisions, refreshing his knowledge of self-employment and general advice. Just talking to it about things he needs a hand with as well as posting emails.
He's not a tech person at all, and I don't think he's picked this up from me. He's just gone ahead and done it. I was pleasantly surprised and chuffed lol.
