作者认为 Dots 与 ChatGPT 的核心区别在于交互方式：用户打开助手直接说话、发布请求、等待回复，无需管理对话线程。Dots 去掉了 @ 提及、/ 命令和自己编写 skills 的步骤，自定义规则只需点一下 approve 按钮即可。作者提到 Dots 目前还有不少小问题待修复，并猜测团队可能在等待硬件和 IPO，之后再以消费级产品重新推出。

No more @ mentioning or / commands or writing skills yourself, custom rules are just a approve button away. It's just a way better experience and one that will appeal to normies.
Once they iron out all the silly million little issues, this should be relaunched as a consumer product but I'm wondering whether they're waiting for the hardware and their IPO. 🤔
