A report by the National Center for Industrial Information Security Development shows that in the first half of 2026, the penetration rate of AI applications in key scenarios for China's manufacturing sector reached 34.2%, an increase of 5.5 percentage points year-on-year. The digitalization penetration rates for R&D design, production manufacturing, and management operations were 86.3%, 69.5%, and 81.4% respectively.
