China's Standardization Administration has published GB/T 48172—2026, the country's first national standard for smart freight hubs, effective April 1, 2027. It covers site layout, information platform construction, smart facilities and equipment, and smart operations/management, with the platform section specifying hardware, network, data storage and computing requirements and encouraging AI services such as agent orchestration, model training, inference and evaluation.
