The Indonesian government is preparing the Peta Jalan AI 2026-2029 roadmap to guide AI development over the next four years. Komdigi (Ministry of Communication and Digital Affairs) will issue the Perpres Etika AI presidential regulation, which will regulate AI use based on a risk-tiered classification system. Specific risk classification criteria and implementation rules have not yet been published.
