作者按 1994、2004、2014、2024 四个时间点回顾软件行业的唱衰论调。1994 年被劝去当医生或律师，2004 年被指工作会被时薪 5 美元的外包取代，2014 年被认为会被 no-code 工具淘汰。2024 年的唱衰对象换成了 Devin、Windsurf、Copilot 和 OpenAI o1 等编程工具。结论是优秀软件工程师的需求始终没有下降。
