港大和KAI的SMASH 2.0让两台人形机器人自主打完11分制乒乓球,8月22日在北京首秀。
香港大学与KAI研究团队完成了首场全自主人形机器人乒乓球赛:两台SMASH 2.0机器人在无遥控、无人工喂球的条件下打完11分制完整一局。该系统由港大与KAI联合研发,将于8月22日至26日在北京冰丝带场馆举行的第二届世界机器人运动会首次公开亮相。比赛中机器人自主完成发球、对拉与得分,全程无人类介入。
Two Humanoid Robots Play a Full 11-Point Table Tennis Match — HKU and KAI's SMASH 2.0 Autonomously Serves, Rallies, and Scores
A team from the University of Hong Kong and KAI research completed what they call the first full autonomous humanoid table tennis match: two robots played a complete 11-point game with no remote control and no human feeding balls. The SMASH 2.0 system will debut at the second World Robot Games at the Ice Ribbon in Beijing on August 22-26.
