jetbrains has gifted me this delicate piece of flickering agent tracker it'll absolutely cook my work life balance 🌝 https://t.co/vKxVywMqOe
The finding that multi-turn benchmarking doubles cost without improving success rates gives teams a concrete cost signal when designing agent evaluations. Anyone building or selecting coding agents should audit their own session logs first, then mirror that mix of questions, planning and edits in benchmarks. The paper is on arXiv (2610.09633), so the methodology is freely available for replication.
