Most people who are panicking don’t fully appreciate this point: Gary Marcus @GaryMarcus Chess, go, and math are highly constrained, purely cognitive that allow exact simulation for games (and formal verification for math), and not in the open-ended physical world. As I have been arguing for over a decade AI, AI techniques for the former are strong, for the latter they are weak. That remains true. That said, we stupidly pushed the cognitive techniques without solving alignment. we should be extremely careful about doing the same in robotics. 🔗 View Quoted Tweet 💬 6 🔄 0 ❤️ 13 👀 2086 📊 5 ⚡
