Xiaomi trains MiMo-2.6 model
For users looking for affordable AI models, mimo-v2.5's strong performance on OpenRouter and mimo-v2.6's improved results show Xiaomi's models remain competitive in price and capability compared to alternatives like GLM-5.3-Flash.
Xiaomi's MiMo team opened a live training dashboard for its new model, mimo-v2.6-pro and mimo-v2.6-flash. The models are the next generation after mimo-v2.5, released in April 2026. The latest results show mimo-v2.6 outperforms the previous version significantly on the DeepSWE benchmark, scoring over 60% which is close to GLM-5.3-Flash. The RL training cost for the two models exceeded 1.2 million US dollars.
