I don't get the AGI claim at all. We're nowhere near it. Just using Dots you can see it's far, far away. It still makes mistakes, forgets and loses its context, and its focus is easily distracted. I'm still getting hallucinations. It's still slow and unreliable. We've got a long way to go.
If a lab is claiming AGI by the end of this year, they're talking absolute gibberish.
Chris and I have agreed on the timeline for quite a long time and I still think it's still a year or two away at least.
