OpenAI 设立新岗位，聘请前陆军部长 Dan Driscoll 出任国家安全现代化高级顾问，负责向各国政府和企业提供国家安全与网络安全领域的 AI 应用建议，重点面向美国盟友。Driscoll 两个月前辞去陆军最高文职职务，此前与国防部长 Pete Hegseth 存在摩擦。此举紧随 OpenAI 与五角大楼达成的 2026 年合作，该合作因对监控和自主武器的限制，导致硬件负责人 Caitlin Kalinowski 因流程仓促而离职。
OpenAI has hired former Army Secretary Dan Driscoll into a newly created national security AI role.
As Senior Counselor for National Security Modernization, he will advise governments and companies on using AI for national and cyber security, especially among U.S. allies.
The move comes 2 months after he quit the Army’s top civilian job amid friction with Pete Hegseth, who had removed several officers tied to his modernization drive.
He earlier deployed to Iraq with the 10th Mountain Division and later worked in private equity.
It follows OpenAI’s 2026 Pentagon deal, whose limits on surveillance and autonomous weapons prompted hardware leader Caitlin Kalinowski to quit over a rushed process.
