Apollo 首席经济学家 Torsten Slok 引用 Ramp 数据指出,前 10% 客户占模型服务支出的 99.5%,占 neocloud 支出的 99%,其余 90% 企业仅分别占 0.5% 和 1%。很多小公司通过 CRM、客服系统或代码编辑器间接使用 AI,由软件厂商承担模型费用并计入订阅价。因此长尾企业的实际 AI 使用量可能比账单显示的更高。

Many small companies that use AI never pay a model vendor directly. They get it inside a CRM, a help-desk tool or a code editor, and the software company pays the AI bill and folds it into the subscription.

That's one reason AI spending looks so lopsided. Ramp data shared by Apollo's chief economist Torsten Slok shows -

"the top 10% of customers account for 99.5% of model-serving spend and 99% of neocloud spend, leaving the bottom 90% of firms with 0.5% and 1%."

Part of that top 10% is likely software companies paying for AI on behalf of thousands of smaller customers. So the long tail is probably using more AI than its own bills show.
