NVIDIA Releases Nemotron 3.5 Super VL Open Model
NVIDIA's release signals that agent stacks increasingly need one model handling vision, reasoning and tool calls rather than separate pipelines. Developers building agentic workflows can self-host and fine-tune it, an alternative to closed multimodal APIs from OpenAI or Google. Its open licensing also makes it practical for teams with data-residency constraints.
NVIDIA expanded its Nemotron family of open models with Nemotron 3.5 Super VL. The new model combines visual understanding, reasoning and tool use in a single model. It is designed to help AI agents complete more work in less time. As an open model, it allows developers to customize and deploy it on their own terms.
