Axios 报道称 Reflection AI 即将发布一个能力极强的开源权重模型，目标与顶级中国开源模型竞争。Reflection 自 7 月起每月向 Elon Musk 的 Colossus 支付 1.5 亿美元算力费用，此前还签有与 Nebius 的 10 亿美元算力协议。另有消息人士称，多家未具名美国实验室计划本月发布开源模型。商务部长 Howard Lutnick 曾希望推动美国开源模型发展，甚至考虑过政府直接出资。
Axios is reporting that Reflection AI is about to release an extremely capable open weight model expected to compete with the top Chinese open weight ones. Reflection have been paying Elon $150 million a month for compute at Colossus since July, on top of a $1 billion compute deal with Nebius, so a strong model is certainly possible.
Sources also told Axios that multiple open source models from other unnamed American labs are also planned to release this month. American OSS Renaissance about to begin?
